Lib Dem candidate chosen for Ashford East By Election

The Liberal Democrats have chosen Diane Appleby as their candidate for the Ashford East by election to be held on 23rd October 2008.
Diane has lived locally for the past 20 years. She has recently retired as a lecturer. She has taught in Slough and locally at Spelthorne College.
Diane has served the Spelthorne community as a school governor in Laleham. She is a member of her local residents association and understands the needs of town-centre flat dwellers. She has consistently fought for recycling to be extended to serve residents in flats. Diane is committed to environmental issues.
