Liberal Democrats double representation on Spelthorne Council

Local Liberal Democrats enjoyed considerable success in the local election held on 3rd May.
There are now 8 Liberal Democrat councillors representing the wards of Sunbury Common, Sunbury East and Halliford and Sunbury West.
This increase in councillors will allow a much higher level of scrutiny of Council policies and decisions and more effective constructive opposition.
