Liberal Democrats win Ashford Town by-election
The new Liberal Democrat councillor Greg Neall wasted no time in getting down to Spelthorne Council, where he was welcomed by the Council's Deputy Leader, Cllr Chris Bateson.
During the campaign Greg consistently highlighted the key issues for Ashford Town and the financial crisis facing Spelthorne. Greg's financial background will be of great value to the Council as the Administration works to addresses the consequences of the Conservatives excessive borrowing and reckless spending.
Over the last few weeks Greg has spoken with and listened to hundreds of residents. He knows what people want and he is committed to continuing to listen and doing whatever he can to deliver for his residents.
Greg will be working for everyone in Ashford and said “Thank you for placing your faith in me to represent Ashford Town, I will work honestly and tirelessly to make the town a better place for everyone in Ashford.”
