MPs debate petition to rejoin EU

MPs in the House of Commons debated a petition which has reached more than 132,000 signatures. The petition states "I believe joining the EU would boost the economy, increase global influence, improve collaboration and provide stability & freedom. I believe that Brexit hasn't brought any tangible benefit and there is no future prospect of any, that the UK has changed its mind and that this should be recognised." Many MPs backed calls for closer ties with the European Union. The debate is refreshing as the MPs state the truth we do not normally hear, namely that Brexit is causing enormous damage to our country. You can watch the debate below:
