South Middlesex Motion Passed!

Despite strong Conservative opposition the West Surrey Unitary Authority this evening passed a motion requiring the leader write to the Secretary of State to rename the council "West Surrey and South Middlesex." The voting was 58 in favour & 15 against. Congratulations to all the Liberal Democrat councillors who voted for Cllr. Harry Boparai's motion.
