Harry and Suraj

CLLR HARRY BOPARAI AND SURAJ GYAWALI

“Since being elected as your county councillor in 2022 by only 15 votes, it has been my honour and privilege to serve the residents of Sunbury Common and Ashford Common for the last 4 years.

“I was joined by Suraj as a borough councillor in 2023 and we have worked together very effectively as a team to address long-standing issues, strengthen neglected infrastructure and to support the many community groups in our area.
“Issues addressed include flooding on Beechwood Avenue, racing in the Tesco car park, fighting against HMOs and solving persistent fly-tipping in Kinross Drive/Close. We have also secured funding for local youth organisations including the girl guides and scouts, as well as St Saviour’s and Ashford Methodist Churches, Spelthorne Sports and Dunford Hall.
“Our canvassing confirms that this election is a straight fight between the Liberal Democrats and Reform. We are determined to stop Reform’s divisive politics taking hold in our community.
“Sunbury and Ashford Common will be represented on the new unitary authority by two councillors.
“Labour and the Greens cannot win here. The Greens cannot even find a second candidate. However, a vote for Labour or the Greens could let Reform win.
“Therefore, please cast BOTH your votes for Suraj and me.”
