The Liberal Democrat manifesto includes measures to ensure banks can't charge customers unfairly for going over their limit or bouncing a cheque.
Liberal Democrats have made a commitment to restrict increases in rail fares so that they will not increase at above inflation rates, as has been the case in under both Labour and Conservatives governments.
"Liberal Democrats oppose like-for-like replacement of Trident. It is not suited to today's security threats and, with a £100bn price tag, it is a system we simply cannot afford," said the Liberal Democrat Shadow Foreign Secretary, Ed Davey.
Spelthorne's Conservative-run Council has passed up the chance of receiving hundreds of thousands of pounds from developers to help pay for amenity areas, parks, playgrounds and recycling, despite being urged to do so by the Liberal Democrat group on the Council.
